Panasonic KX-TA624 / 824 Telephone System
 
Changing the time on a Panasonic KX-TA624 system must be done from extension # 101 using a display phone.
1.- Press the "PROGRAM" button on the face of the phone
2.- Enter programming mode by pressing "STAR" - "POUND" - "1234" (default password = 1234)
3.- Enter program # 000
4.- Press "SPEAKER" button
5.- Press "FORWARD/DND" button to change to the hour selection
6.- Press "TRANSFER" button and enter the hour
7.- Press "FORWARD/DND" button to change to the minutes parameter
8.- Press "TRANSFER" button and enter the minutes
9.- Press "FORWARD/DND" button to change to the AM/PM parameter
10 Press "MUTE" button to select AM or PM
11.- Press "STORE" button (listen for 1 tone if procedure was executed correctly / 3 tones if procedure failed)
12.- Press "HOLD" button
13.- Press the "PROGRAM" button on the face of the phone
 
 
Panasonic KX-TVS Voice Mail System
 
Changing the time on a Panasonic KX-TVS voice mail system can be done from any phone.
1.- Dial the TVS pilot number (extension 107 or 115)
2.- When the voice mail system answers press "#" + "6" + "STAR"
3.- Log into the message manager's mailbox (999)
4.- Press "6" for other features
5.- Press "3" to set the time & date
6.- Press "1" to change the current time (press "0" for help)
7.- Enter the hour then press "#" or enter the hour and minutes then press "#"
8.- Press "1" for AM or "2" for PM
9.- Press "2" to accept the new time
 
 
Panasonic Digital Telephone System
 
Changing the time on a Panasonic digital system can be done from any display phone.
1.- Enter programming mode by pressing "PAUSE" then "STAR" button twice, followed by 1, 2, 3, 4
2.- Enter program # "000"
3.- Press "SPEAKER" button
4.- Press "FORWARD/DND" button to change to the hour selection
5.- Press "TRANSFER" button and enter the hour
6.- Press "FORWARD/DND" button to change to the minutes parameter
7.- Press "TRANSFER" button and enter the minutes
8.- Press "FORWARD/DND" button to change to the AM/PM parameter
9.- Press "MUTE" button to select AM or PM
10.- Press "STORE" button
11.- Press "HOLD" button
12.- Lift and replace handset
 
Panasonic DBS System
 
From the designated attendant console (usually x100, but not always), enter the following code sequence:
To set the date and time:
1.- Press the ON/OFF key
  • The phone issues intercom dial tone.

  • The current date and time are displayed on your LCD.
2.- Press the PROG key.
"F" appears on the display
3.- Dial "##."
"Program Mode:" appears on the first line of the display; "MAIN MODE" appears on the second line.
4.- Press the FF1 key.
"SELECT SUB MODE" appears on the second line of the display.
5.- Dial "1#."
"1:DATE 2:TIME" appears.
6.- Dial "1#."
"MONTH/DAY/YEAR" appears.
7.- Enter six digits for the month, day, and year.
For example, to set the date to March 3, 1993, enter "030393."
8.- Press #.
"TIME SET MODE appears on the display.
9.- Enter four digits for hours and minutes (24-hr. time).
For example, for 11:00 a.m., enter "1100."
10.- Press #.
11.- Press the ON/OFF key.
The new date and time appear on the display
 
Panasonic Digital Telephone System
 
Changing the time on a Panasonic KX-TD, KX-TDA or KX-TDE digital system can be done from any display phone.
1.- Enter programming mode by pressing "PROGRAM" button then "STAR" button twice, followed by 1, 2, 3, 4
2.- Enter program "000" and press Enter
3.- Press "SPEAKER" button two times, you will see the time.
4.- Enter the correct hour.
5.- Press "FORWARD/DND" button to advance to the minute selection
6.- Enter the correct minutes (if necessary to update).
7.- Press "FORWARD/DND" button to advance to the AM/PM selection.
8.- Press "MUTE" button to select AM or PM (if necessary to change).
9.- Press "STORE" button
10.- Lift and replace handset to exit the programming mode.
11.- This will change the time for all of the phones on your phone
 
 
 
How to set the time on your Panasonic Voice Mail
  • Press the intercom button on your phone.
  • Dial 165 and then raise the handset.
  • When the Voice Mail answers you, dial # 6 (POUND SIX)
  • Dial *999 (STAR NINE NINE NINE)
  • Enter your password. (usually your zip code) followed by the # (POUND)
  • Wait for the system to say, “To receive the message”
  • Then dial 6 (for other features)
  • Then dial 3 (to set the clock)
  • Then dial 1 (to change the time)
  • Enter the time followed by a # (POUND) Example for 9:37 is---Enter 937#
  • The system will ask for 1 for AM or 2 for PM
  • Enter the correct digit
  • The system will ask for 1 to change or 2 to accept
  • Enter 2 (to accept)
  • Hang up

Press Time Service Button to change. If Time Service light is off, you are in DAY MODE, Red = NIGHT MODE, Green = LUNCH MODE, Flashing Green = BREAK MODE, Flashing red = HOLIDAY MODE
KX-TD 308 Press DAY key or NIGHT Key to change ringing mode. If no key available press INTERCOM 780 for DAY or INTERCOM 781 for NIGHT.
KX-TD 308/186/1232 Press DAY key or NIGHT Key to change ringing mode. If no key available press INTERCOM 780 for DAY or INTERCOM 781 for NIGHT.
KX-TA1232 Press DAY key or NIGHT Key to change ringing mode. If no key available press INTERCOM 780 for DAY or INTERCOM 781 for NIGHT.
KX-TA 624 KX-TA 824 Press DAY key, LUNCH key or NIGHT Key to change ringing mode. If no key available press INTERCOM 781# for DAY or INTERCOM 782# for NIGHT or INTERCOM 783# for LUNCH.

How can I determine if the system is in Day or Night Mode?
 
From any display phone, with the handset down and the speakerphone off, press the # key. The display will say Day or Night Mode or Lunch Mode.
On the KX-TDA systems, press TRANSFER

Here are the instructions for clearing the message light on your phone when there is not a message.

1-From your phone, pick up the handset and dial *700 and the extension number of the phone that has the light lit.
e.g. extension 101 would be *700101
2-Hang up

The reason why the light lit is most likely a feature called call me back, from any phone, dial another extension. If they don't answer, then hit the message button and hang up. This lights the light and then when you pick up the phone it will automatically dial the other extension back. You most likely don't need this feature but here is how you clear it.
